| General Info: | Travel in US is quite simple. Key Islands are very touristic and most of the budget accommodations get sold out very quickly. So this trip required good planning. Miami and its beach are absolutely our favourites city beaches. |

| 2-4 | Miami | Miami has lots of things to offer. It’s an interesting city and has a beautiful and clean beaches. What we’ve done in Miami:

| 5 | Key Largo | We drove from Miami to Key Largo – ca. 100km for 1 and half hour. We spent afternoon in the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park doing a 2 and half hours snorkeling tour. Reef is incredible and full of fishes and sea turtles (see pics). In the afternoon we went around Key Largo exploring the (posh) marina. We spent the night in Tavernier, southern part of Key Largo – cheaper than staying in the Kay Largo main area. |
| 6-7 | Key West | From Key Largo to Key West – ca 160 km. The driving is very nice, worth stopping few times. Key West is a very touristic place, not particularly liked it. Nice, but nothing special. We liked more Miami. Everything is expensive, including accommodations. Also beaches in the village are not nice. There are few National Park to visit. We did a snorkeling, dolphin watching and canoeing trip – quite nice. Plenty of agencies sell more or less the same boat trips. The price depends to the number of people and the type of boat. Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum is quite nice. |
| 8 | Everglades National Park – Miami | On the way back to Miami, we stopped to the Everglades National Park Private vehicle entrance fee: $10.00 – Good for 7 consecutive days at all park entrances.We did Anhinga Trail to see various alligators and turtles and did a boat trip – very nice park! |
| 9 | Miami | Last day enjoying the best beach ever… Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum is quite nice. |
